Suspended In Blue is a 20" x 20" oil painting by artist Rebecca Robb.
With "Suspended In Blue" I wanted to capture underwater light reflecting off a single fish in open water. There is no sign of where the light is coming from, no sun rays breaking through the surface of the water as is with "Sunset Camouflage" or "Swaying Low and Light." Seeing the light is not necessary, you know it is present and the subject, the fish, is center of attention, displaying warm, cool and translucent light.
