Prussian Deep is a 11" x 14" abstract seascape oil painting by artist Rebecca Robb.
"Prussian Deep" is one of my mini abstract seascapes series originals. I have a lot of canvases I use to teach my painting workshops. I decided to paint over them so I don't waste these precious canvases.
To effectively paint over another painting, I use my pallet knife and apply my paint in thick layers to cover the underpainting. As always, I let some specks of color from my under painting come through to create more color interest and texture.
I painted this abstract coastal seascape using neutral grays, beiges and Prussian Blue, a soft deep hue.
