Beckoning is a 20" x 30" oil painting by artist Rebecca Robb.
The beach is one of my favorite places on earth. I spent many happy hours during my childhood playing on the sand, swimming in the tides, running up and down the shore and lazying around in the sun. The rhythmic sound of waves rolling onto the sand, the aroma of sea salt, and the warmth of the sun on my skin, are sensations that lure to me to return to the oceanside. This seascape painting speaks to the memories of my relationship with the seaside; the beauty and color of the ocean as far out as the eye can see, and the interactive sensations of bubbling waves and sand squishing between my curling toes while I feel the breeze on my face.
