Coming Home is a 20" x 20" oil painting by artist Rebecca Robb.
All throughout my childhood, and well into my adult years I traveled around the world moving from city to city and country to country every few years. Because of this, I don’t exactly have a particular place that I would call home, except for wherever I am living at any given moment. The one thing that connects the many places I have lived and what I would consider “home” is being out in nature.
I paint so many different types of landscapes because of my exposure to a myriad of terrains. All these places feel like home to me and is where I find myself.
“Coming Home” depicts six cows coming up a hill toward the viewer as they leave luscious fields of color behind.
