I love being an advocate for under appreciated animals. There is beauty in everything and art is all around us, especially in wildlife. Emerald pythons have incredible colors and patterns. Their vibrant cool greens and yellows contrast with their warm earthy habitat. I painted "Spotted Emerald" keeping a reptile enthusiast in mind; someone who understands the complexity and genius of snakes.
