Spirit Horse is a 48" x 48" original animal portrait oil painting by artist Rebecca Robb.
“Spirit Horse” was the second horse I painted and I wanted to try bolder colors this time. As is evident, I love painting my horses in motion and try to create a strong sense of light and shadows.
With a composition like this I am able to paint my subject impressionistically and add hints of abstract brushwork throughout.
