Sea Foam is a 36" x 24" oil painting by artist Rebecca Robb.
Simply a beautiful seascape painting complete with waves, sea foam and sandy shores. The objective for this painting was a soft ocean beech shoreline color palette. No need for rocks, trees or mountains to complicate the contemporary composition.
This painting harmonizes blue and green hues of the water with sienna and umber blends in the sand. I incorporated colors from the ocean and sand into the sky, soft and subtle, so as to compliment this pristine ocean front view without detracting too much attention.
And then there is sea foam. Lots of sea foam. A last detail bringing to roaring life the movement, texture and abstract of ocean waves.
