“Monica” was a commission of a beloved childhood cow that is now passed. My client commissioned this painting as a wedding gift for her sister who was the friend and caregiver of Monica. She had distinctive black spots on her face and body. I wanted to add as much color and warmth as I could to Monica’s white and black coat to breath life and happiness into this memory that will live on forever.
